Let’s start this year a bit differently!! I’ve taken these first couple of weeks to just rest and regroup. I’ve managed to clean both my office at home and my studio. I sent both my cameras off to be cleaned and just got them back. (Shew, getting them back always makes me feel better. It’s like sending off your children to summer camp and you can’t wait to get them back.). I purposely didn’t put a lot on my schedule this month and it has felt good to have the downtime. I have a tendency to just go and go without thinking about what I need. At the end of the month I’m going on vacation and my first photography retreat. I’m so looking forward to the time spent on learning, on the downtime so that I can get ready to take on whatever comes my way this year!! If your setting goals like me for year there’s a few things I know about myself that helps me stay on track. My planner (@commit30 ), 2nd year using this and I love it. Taking time every month to do something just for myself…sometimes that’s a day of pajamas and Netflix. Lastly, always learning!! @unraveledacademy is absolutely the one that keeps me inspired and motivated to keep pushing myself. Happy New Year, peace and love y’all!!

I’m absolutely floored and excited that I was a community choice. This was my first year entering. My Seniors this past year were just amazing and I entered 10 images from 3 of my Seniors. What a year!! After digging into my insights a bit, I love what you all are showing me. My top posts are a mixture of personal work and client work. It seems I need to share more of my personal work. At the beginning of 2022 I had every intention to do that more but I definitely could work on that. I’m so excited about 2023 and I’m setting my goals now. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Every fiber of my being is so incredibly grateful for all the trust, all the opportunities, all the support!! I’m so looking forward to what 2023 will bring!! Can you believe it is December! What are your favorite traditions you are looking forward to? I am hoping to get our tree and a bit of decor up this weekend. The thing I want the most this season is just to take it all in, make time for friends and family, drink some hot cocoa spiked with some Bailey's and enjoy hanging out in my pajamas. Pretty simple!!
